Aguilera Brothers Micro Mill in Los Robles de Naranjo, Alajuela, is a family-owned business focused on cultivating, processing, and exporting high-quality coffee. Their journey began in the 1950s with Mr. Edgar Aguilera Bonilla (R.I.P.) and his wife Angelina González Cubero, whose 12 children inherited their passion for coffee. In 1992, eight siblings founded Agrícola Los Robles de Naranjo S.A., and by 2009, they expanded into processing and marketing specialty coffee, earning recognition in competitions like the Cup of Excellence. Cherries are washed, floaters removed, fermented for 30 hours, sun-dried for 22 days, rested for two months, then dry milled and sorted to ensure top quality.
