Tamara, a small traditional town in Northern Casanare located at the foothill of the Andes on the banks of the river Pauto. Up a winding road from there is the fertile plateau of ‘El Tablon de Tamara’ (the table mountain of Tamara), here the lush vegetation features plantains, bananas and, of course, coffee!
