El Salvador is known for having volcanos all over the country. The landscape has benefitted them in many ways, especially with its rich volcanic soils. Finca Loma de Paja happened to be on the hills of El Salvador's tallest volcano, that is the Ilamatepec Volano also known as the “Volcan de Santa Ana” which made its last eruption in 2005. The growing land range in altitudes from 1200MASL meters to 1850MASL meters. With it is rich in volcanic soil and the ideal varietals they are able to produce some of their country’s top-quality coffee.
