Growing up in a family with a few economic resources, Mr. Gabino began producing coffee on an apple farm that he had bought with his saving. The El Camalote farm, which is located in the municipality area of Santa Maria, currently produces 7 different coffees under the parainema variety which Mr. Gabino first grew after his farm was struck with a series of coffee diseases in 2014. The Parainema variety proved to be resistant to those diseases and the end result was a high quality cup of coffee.
