This coffee is produced in San Agustin; one of the three coffee-producing farms run by the Dávalos family.
Located in the “Tulipe” region, this magical and energetic land was occupied hundreds of years ago by the Yumbos; an ancient nomadic tribe known for settling only in special and unique places suitable for agricultural and astronomical observations.
The Dávalos family acquired these lands 40 years ago, and as time passed by, coffee started growing naturally from a single plant brought from Colombia during a family trip. The unique flavor of this coffee gave birth to a speciality coffee that went on to win 4th place in the “Best of Quito” contest in 2017; marking the Dávalos family’s first competition.
In the future, San Agustin plans to grow more than 15 hectares of speciality coffee varieties, ensuring that every cup of their coffee is unique and memorable.
